The company founded in 2012 by Maximilian Schmidt and Kai Janssen and based in Cologne-Ehrenfeld develops concepts for live experiences and brings these to life, putting storytelling in the main focus.
The communication agency was named after Matt Circus, a fictional character who plays the role of the prominent senior boss.
Alongside trade fair appearances as well as brand, employee and PR events, the company offers accompanying formats, such as films, online media and social media extensions.
Matt Circus calls its integrated and interconnected way of thinking and acting “monumental communication” – a term the company coined itself.
With a base of seven permanent employees and 20 regular freelancers, as well as collaborations with agencies from other disciplines, Matt Circus serves and advises companies and institutions on a continuous basis, with some examples being E.ON, Jülich Research Center, Kautex, Maybelline/L’Oréal, NISSAN, Robert Bosch Trust and Unitymedia.
